    Description

This is an UPGRADE MODIFIED fuel tank for the echo kioritz engine for the mantis tiller built in the 1980's. The modification is the drilling out of the grommet hole to accept a 3 hole grommet in order to install a purge pump carburetor, ive done it and it runs fine, the engines are the same cc's so it runs normal. You will need to buy the additional parts on ebay such as the carb and grommet and parts, ive seen for under . There is a mod you will have to do also, the choke lever will hit the idle screw arm so the carb idle screw arm needs to be filed so that the lever will close the choke.  I accept paypal and shipping is to the lower 48 states, anywhere else additional cost may apply. Any questions feel free to ask. The tank for this listing it the sv2 tank label #2 with marker, all other things you see are for informational purposes and are not included, no gas cap included either.
********** Here is some more info on the echo SV-2AE engine that is the best engine Mantis ever had on their tiller.*****  It is an older model from the 1980's this engine is much easier on your hands and arms to start, no jerking and hurting yourself trying to start it, and this is due to the higher torque starter pulley, also its an all metal engine with only afew plastic parts, these engines also have the oily foam rubber type air filter which protect your engine from hazardous dirt and dust that gets kicked up while tilling your favorite garden spots ,they built these engines to last so they are definitely worth repairing.   *****
Note, this model engine has two piston rings as well as a heavy duty rod bearing compared to what is on the current mantis tiller on the echo which has a standard rod bearing and one single piston ring.
