Vintage Art Pottery Turtle Candle Holder Made in Japan

Description

A ceramic turtle candle holder with wonderful attention to fine details. Original red and gold paper label reads : Our Own Import copyright Japan".
Nutmeg brown with green glaze. Turtle's four feet have attached felt pads to the feet. Measures approx. 5.25" long x 3.5" wide x 2" tall. No cracks or chips. Minor amount of candle residue inside candle area. Circa 1970s.
Items are cleaned/washed carefully, without using harsh methods or cleaners.
Photographs are part of the description. There may be reflections in photos of shiny, glossy, glass items and also shadows in some due to shifts in natural light or a lack of natural light.  Artificial light can cast an amber/yellow glow upon items, esp linens.
Vintage items generally show age and some wear and I do my best to make note of any condition issues.
