Vintage Molded Metal Turtle ~ Luggage Tag? Keyring? Fob? Pendant?

I am not sure what exactly this piece was or is - but it could be several things.
The solid metal piece with the turtle measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1"
It has a metal mesh loop at the top that measures 1 1/2" long.
There is a slot on the very end that indicates it probably attached to something else originally.
Buyer pays .50 for first class mail with tracking.
