I am selling a wonderful carving of a turtle or sea tortoise made by an indigenous artist of the Wounaan-Embera tribes of Panama. Fresh from a Naples, Florida estate. It is small, but beautifully decorated. I do not know what material was used to create this figurine, but many carvings from this region are done from nuts grown locally--I am simply not sure.  Measures app. 3 1/8" in length, app. 1 1/2" wide at the widest point. Marking on the underside read "Remilcio Barrigoa, Wounna, Panama." I believe this to be the name of the artist who created this item. I will offer this charming, unique item for only .00 plus .00 S&H in the US.
