How to Scan amiibo in Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD：
Make your way up till Faron Woods.
you will be able to call on Fi by pressing down on the d-pad and selecting the “Use amiibo” option.
Do note that only the Skyward Sword Zelda and Loftwing amiibo will work.
By scanning the amiibo, it will allow you to return to the sky wherever you are on the surface.
If you scan it again, you will then return to the same spot, providing a convenient shortcut throughout your travels.
How to Scan amiibo on Nintendo Switch

Place your compatible
amiibo
on the right Joy-Con's joystick to
scan
the NFC chip.
For Nintendo Switch Pro-Controllers, the NFC Amiibo coin reader is located on the Nintendo Switch logo at the center of the controller.
If your Joystick cap make it cannot be read, please scan on top of the home key area instead.
Cannot guarantee non-genuine third-party controllers be able to read the amiibo coins.
